James Thomas

James Thomas, 89, of Lake Havasu City Arizona, passed away at home peacefully on September 27, 2022.

James was born in Seattle, WA on May 8th, 1933. He graduated from high School and enlisted in the Navy.

James was married to Marie on July 4th 1959: They were married 63 years.

James worked as an Asst. Manager for Market Basket for 4 years. He then started his own grocery business Clinton Foodmart on Whidbey Island and in Stanwood. He enjoyed building, woodworking, computers, photography, fishing, tennis and traveling. He retired in 1995 and moved to Lake Havasu City till his death.

James is survived by his wife Marie Thomas, children Jeff Thomas, Lori Mackey and Greg Thomas, grandchildren Cameron Mackey, Jacob Thomas, Hunter Mackey and Allan Thomas, great grandchildren Chase and Devon Mackey, sister Marie Ennaro, nephew Joe Ennaro, niece Susan Moore and many other family and friends.

James is preceded in death by parents Jay and Roxie Thomas and brother Robert Thomas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for immediate family.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Havasu or a charity of your choice.
