Lauren Potts

George Lauren Potts 9/16/1939 - 1/28/2025

In the culmination of Mr. Toad's wild ride, Lauren went to see Jesus in the early morning hours of January 28th, 2025. We grieve his loss, but are happy to know, and a bit jealous, that he is in a much better place.

Born in Pocatello Idaho to George and Laura Potts with a brilliant mind and gifted hands, he grew up in a time where there was nothing but opportunity. He never stopped seeing opportunity and finding ways to build things up until his final illness. There really was no machine or structure he couldn't fix, and usually in the process, make it better.

Lauren and Patty grew up together in Stanfield, OR. They began dating shortly after she graduated from high school and were married 2 years later. The next 62 years were full of stories, love and devotion and a few tears along the way.

Lauren said his greatest treasure was the wife and family God had blessed him with. His faithful partner in life, Patty; Five children, Kenny, Lauri, Ruth, Julie, and Mary; Fourteen Grandchildren, and Sixteen (Seventeen in March) Great Grandchildren; His dear siblings, Ann, John, and Evelyn. We felt the same way, thanking God for the provider and protector that he was.

We loved him deeply and will miss him dearly.
