Eric McCormick

Eric Leigh McCormick, age 68 of Lake Havasu City, passed away on December 17, 2024.

Eric was born on September 15, 1956, in Downey, CA. After graduating from Lakewood High in 1975, he attended Long Beach State where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Police Science. After a career with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department as a deputy, he retired in 2012. In 1998 he married Sherry Lea Craig, and they lived in Downey, CA, then retiring to Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Eric enjoyed anything outdoors, which included boating, all water sports, ATVing, electric biking, and home maintenance and repairs. He enjoyed anything to keep him busy and working with his hands. He was strong, dependable and hard-working.

He leaves behind his wife, mother and four siblings.

A private family service with be on a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
